Pre-Prospect Problems

As a small business who started up with just a few barrels of maple syrup in a small and temporary building on stilts, reaching our goal of becoming a large, multi-national company quickly became complicated. Before implementing Prospect CRM, all of our customer data was stored in an Excel sheet that was constantly out of sync with our accounting system due to human error. We needed to find a CRM system that integrated and communicated with our inventory software so we could focus on getting our products right the first time, managing our sales from one place, and scaling efficiently.

The Solution

When searching for a CRM system, we focused on finding a solution that has all the data our Sales team might need in just one place. Training employees to use multiple systems is time-consuming and expensive, so we needed a CRM that communicated well with the other applications we already had in place. With Prospect CRM’s integration to Katana cloud inventory, when an order’s placed, the order is sent straight through to Katana with the click of a button. Conveniently, our team can then follow the order status in real time on Katana.

Since adopting Prospect CRM, our sales have grown 100% - without us needing to expand our team. Prospect CRM’s after-sales ticketing system has helped us to trace any product or delivery issues back to their causes, and being able to document interactions and assign future tasks has ensured that we’re well informed and always one step ahead with our customers.

The online Prospect Academy has helped us to create in-depth product sales reports, and ProspectSoft’s Support team are very responsive and good at following up on tickets when they can’t provide an immediate solution. As our business continues to grow, we want our systems to expand with us, and Prospect CRM and Katana let us do just that. ProspectSoft’s App Marketplace offers payment and marketing integrations that we’re not currently using, but are planning on connecting to soon to further automate and scale our business.
