The Onboarding team at Prospect CRM delivered hand-in-hand guidance, unwavering patience, and relentless support which made the process smooth and stress-free. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure every step was clear and manageable, which I truly appreciate. It’s rare to find such a dedicated team who really take the time to walk you through everything with care.
Implementing Prospect CRM typically takes between 6-12 weeks.
The Prospect CRM implementation process follows a few steps:
Firstly, you’ll be provided with templates to set up branded documents like quote templates, enquiry forms and email signatures
Next you’ll have 2 configuration sessions with an onboarding consultant to begin setting up the system and receive a template for data import
You’ll receive 2 training sessions to teach your team how to use the CRM and it’s features
You’ll attend a reporting webinar to learn about the reporting functionality
Finally, your onboarding consultant will support you to go-live
You can use our onboarding checklist to check off items as they’re completed during the implementation process.
Your data migration is done via our structured import spreadsheet. You’ll initially have a call with one of our onboarding consultants to help us understand your current workflows and map your data fields from your current system to Prospect CRM. Then data will need to be exported, cleansed and mapped into the import spreadsheet, ready for upload into Prospect CRM.
We’ll also do a ‘back-office sync’ extracting key data on products, pricing and customer data from your ERP, inventory and accounting systems, to make sure Prospect CRM works hand-in-hand with all the tools that matter most.
For more information about migrating from a current CRM to Prospect CRM, download our migration guide.
If something goes wrong during go-live, your onboarding consultant will support you to troubleshoot and find the solution.
We recommend that you assign someone to be ‘Project Manager’ for the implementation of Prospect CRM, and typically your leadership team and key decision makers will be involved in the implementation. Your sales and marketing teams, alongside operations will also need to be involved for training.
Your team will need to be involved in the data cleansing, mapping and imports. They will also need to attend any relevant training sessions and get involved in testing the system before go-live.
There are also training resources they can use to familiarise themselves with the system, before they’re using it daily.
Training for your team is provided by your onboarding consultant, typically your leadership, sales, marketing and operations teams will need to be trained to use Prospect CRM.
Your onboarding consultant will be with you every step of the way to ensure your system works correctly before go-live. They’ll help you set up the system, import data, configure integrations and test that data is flowing as you expect it to.
Following a successful go-live, your onboarding consultant will transfer you to your customer success and support teams. If you’re on a Standard Customer Success Plan (CSP), your Customer Success Manager will check-in with you 6 weeks post go-live. All customers can access continuous support via live chat and raising support tickets, while those on a standard CSP can also access phone support too.
If issues arise after launch, our help guides or academy may offer a solution you can implement yourself, or you can contact your Customer Success Manager, or utilise the product support options available in your Customer Success Plan, such as phone, live chat or submitting a support ticket.
What’s included in the cost of implementation depends on the Flightpath option you choose. We have 3 options available – each package is provides varying levels of guidance, data integration, and configuration support, ensuring your setup experience is customised to your requirements. View our Flightpaths documentation to compare the 3 packages.
There are no hidden costs for our onboarding Flightpaths, what’s included is detailed in our Flightpaths documentation. If you require additional training from our team, surpassing what is offered in our Flightpaths, these costs will be discussed with you beforehand.
